Description:
The Multidyne HEMC-400 Series of Ethernet Fiber Optic Transceivers comply with the IEEE 802.3 Standard.
The HEMC-400 is designed to convert data signal between 10/100 Base-Tx and 100 Base-Fx fast Ethernet.
It supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 100BASE-FX applications. The data signal converted by HEMC-400 high
performance media converter can be transmitted up to 100Km by 10Base-FL cable.
The standard HEMC-400 is equipped with two fiber optic connectors (one for transmitting-Tx and the other for receiving-
Rx) and one RJ-45 Jacks and one external power supply.
The HEMC421/411 provides ethernet transport over ONE fiber.
The TX and RX optical signals are Wave-division Multiplexed (WDM) onto ONE fiber.
Six LED indicators are built-in for easy diagnosing and monitoring the status of power, UT UTP Activity, Fiber Link, Fiber
Activity, Full duplex. It can automatically configure itself for 100 or 10 Mbps and Full Duplex or Half Duplex operation. It is
compact, cost-effective, low power, high reliable and stable.
It can be used in standalone applications, or Rack-Mounted applications where multiple media converter can be inserted
into a rack-mount chassis, and allowing all the converters to be powered by a single internal power supply.
