VPDA-2

VPDA-2 Video, Pulse & Subcarrier Distribution Amplifier with

2500 Feet Cable Equalizer, Back-Porch Clamp & Hum Bucker

The VPDA-2 Video, Pulse, Subcarrier Distribution Amplifier and Clamper includes two on-board equalizers for two cable types.

The unit equalizes from 0-2,500 feet of 8281 and 59U cable with a single control. The unit features a fast AC/DC feedback

clamping circuit which samples the error voltage on the video back porch. The clamping circuit will actually extract any hum

present in the video picture on a line-by-line basis. Additional features include a loop-through input, 6 outputs, cancellation and

extraction of up to 12 Volts p-p of hum, AC/DC powered, less than 0.1% differential gain and 0.05 degrees differential phase

and is available in portable, single rack-mount and dual rack-mount configurations.

A switch selectable 124 Ohm Balanced Video Cable Input is optionally available for the VPDA-2.

Switch select either a 75 Ohm loop-through BNC video cable input or a 124 Ohm balanced video cable input.

An Automatic By-pass feature is available with the VPDA-2.

If the AC power should fail, the video input is automatically switched directly to output number 1.
