0 IRE BLACK FOR TRANSMITTER POWER MEASUREMENTS (optional)
A 0 IRE Black without Burst test signal is available as an option to make transmitter
power measurements. The 0 IRE Black without Burst test signal is available with the
MONITOR ALIGNMENT TEST SIGNALS (optional)
The TS 12 and TS I2-RM are available with special monitor alignment test signals as an option. The monitor alignment test signal set
includes a 10% APL Window and 100% APL Window for manual and automatic monitor alignment procedures. Also included is a Cross
Hatch signal with Pludge.
A Lip-sync feature is available to synchronize the video and audio channels of a video system. The character generator cursor flashes off
for one video frame and on for 2 seconds. The 0.5 Hz click in the right audio channel is synchronized with the character generator cursor.
The video and audio timing measurements can be made using a standard oscilloscope triggered on the audio click. The Lip-sync feature is
available with the TSI2 and TS 12-RM.
Automatic BY-PASS
External video and stereo audio are looped through the TS12-RM under normal conditions. With the Automatic By-pass feature, if the
external video is inter
rupted or lost. the selected test signal, character ID and stereo tone are switched onto the line automatically. If the
video link is interrupted. the TS12-RM wil
l automaticallyl test and identify the source of the problem.
VERTICAL INTERVAL ID
The model TS12-RM will insert a 16 character message into the vertical interval of external video on lines 10 through 16. The TS12 will place a 16
character message in the vertical interval of the test signal output on lines 10 through 16. The vertical interval message consists of the first 16
Characters of the ID displayed in the active field.
