9.4 Shelf Location Label Print (DC-300 only)
This option allows you to print labels that can either be used for shipping or used to mark warehouse shelf
locations to aid in picking and stocking of items. In this operation you can select the format of the label to be
printed. If the standard label formats do not allow print areas for the data you want to appear, see Section 7.5
on how to program the free format label internal to the scale or see Section 7.3 on how to use the DC-300’s Label
Design utility program on a computer to format a custom label.
1. From the stand-by screen, press the
MODE key once to enter the report mode. The X annunciator will be
illuminated, confirming you are in report mode.
2. Press the
+ key twice to move to 3: SHELF LOCATION PRINT. Then press the * REPRINT key to enter the
shelf location print mode.
3. Enter the item code for the item you want a report on. This must be an existing item code already
programmed into memory (see Section 5.11.4 for instructions on adding Item Codes to memory). Press
the
* REPRINT key to select this item.
4. The display will show the label format that was programmed when the item code was originally entered.
You can change the label format to any other existing format by using the
<< and >> keys to move
between the options.
5. Once you have the format you want on the screen, press the
* REPRINT key to print the label for the item
you have chosen. If you need to stop the printing process while it is going on, press the
FEED key.
6. To return to the select report screen, press the
PIECES key, followed by the CLEAR key. To return to the
stand-by screen from this point, press the MODE key 4 times.
