7.6.2 Change the Default Label Type
This changes the default label format for all item codes programmed with the label format set as DEF. Governs
label printing for items called up using the
CODE key if you do not override it using the REZERO + L key
command in Section 7.6.4 below.
1. Press
MODE key until the display shows ITEM CODE PROGRAMMING. The S annunciator, indicating the
programming mode, will illuminate.
2. Press the
+ key five times to reach the GENERAL LABEL PROGRAM screen.
3. Enter a “2” to select the DEFAULT label programming.
4. Select a label format for label printing using the
>> and << keys to move between the available formats.
Press the
CODE key to store the label format and return to the GENERAL LABEL PROGRAM screen.
5. Press the
MODE key three times to return to the Stand-by or weighing mode.
7.6.3 Change the NON-ID Label Type
This changes the label format used by the scale when a sample, count and print operation is performed on an item
whose ID Code is not programmed into the scale’s memory, unless you override it using the
REZERO + L key
command in Section 7.6.4 below.
1. Press
MODE key until the display shows ITEM CODE PROGRAMMING. The S annunciator, indicating the
programming mode, will illuminate.
2. Press the
+ key five times to reach the GENERAL LABEL PROGRAM screen.
3. Enter a “1” to select the DEFAULT label programming.
4. Select a label format for label printing using the
>> and << keys to move between the available formats.
Press the CODE key to store the label format and return to the GENERAL LABEL PROGRAM screen.
5. Press the
MODE key three times to return to the Stand-by or weighing mode.
7.6.4 Change All Label Types Temporarily
This overrides all other label format programming during the current weighing operation. Once the scale is
turned off, the next time it is turned back on it reverts back to the NON-ID label format for items not in memory
and the DEFAULT or other format associated with an item code programmed in memory.
1. At the Stand-by or weighing mode, while holding down the
REZERO key, press the L key.
2. Select a label format for label printing using the
>> and << keys to move between the available formats.
Press the
CODE key to store the label format and return to the Stand-by or weighing mode.
7.7 Using External Printers
The DC-200/300 has the capability to connect to external printers using its RS-232 ports. For more information
on connecting an external slip or barcode printer to the DC-200/300, please contact your DIGI dealer.
