Printing Labels (DC-300 only) 101
7.6 Changing Label Formats
The DC-300 has four different ways to determine which label format will print.
• change the label type programmed with an individual ID Code: (see Section 6.1.2).
As long as it is not set to the DEFAULT Label Format, this will govern label printing for an item called
up using the
CODE key if you do not override it by using the REZERO + L command below.
• change the default label type:
This changes the default label format for all item codes programmed with the label format set as DEF.
Governs label printing for items called up using the
CODE key if you do not override it using the REZERO
+ L
key command below;
• change the NON-ID label type:
This changes the label format used by the scale when a sample, count and print operation is performed
on an item whose ID Code is not programmed into the scale’s memory, unless you override it using the
REZERO + L key command below.
• change all label types temporarily by
REZERO + L:
This overrides all other label format programming during the current weighing operation. Once the scale
is turned off, the next time it is turned back on it reverts back to the NON-ID label format for items not in
memory and the DEFAULT or other format associated with an item code programmed in memory.
7.6.1 Change Label Format Associated With an Individual Item Code
