47. Press the
+ key once to move to the next item, temporarily saving the data programmed so far.
48. To do a Test Print of your label, enter 50 from the numeric keypad and press the
+ (plus) key. Then press
the
* REPRINT key to enter the Test Print mode.
49. Press the
* REPRINT key to leave the print Status as “2 – All Print” and print a sample label. Check the
print position and size of each field. If satisfied with the layout, press the
CODE key to save the changes
we’ve made to the A1 label format in order to define a new Free Format Label #8. If necessary, make
adjustments to the X and Y position and size of the data items printing and print a new sample label.
Once the layout is set, press the
CODE key to save the layout and return to the Free Format programming
mode.
50. Press the
MODE key three times to return to the Stand-by Screen.
To see the results of the newly formatted Free Format Label #8, you can also press
SHIFT UP + L to change the
active label format. Then call up an item code from memory by entering the item code and pressing the
CODE
key. Finally, press the * REPRINT key to print a label.
7.5.8 Delete a Free Format File
Follow the steps below in order to delete a Free Format you have programmed. Note that you cannot delete a
Free Format that has been associated with an Item Code in memory. Before deleting a format used by an existing
Item Code you will need to assign that Item Code another label format (See Section 6.1.2).
1. Press the mode key until the display shows
ITEM CODE PROGRAMMING. The S annunciator, indicating the
Programming Mode, will illuminate.
2. Enter the number of the Free Format that you wish to delete and press the
– (minus) key to enter the
deletion mode.
3. Press the
CLEAR key to confirm the deletion or press the TARE key to cancel the deletion. You will be
returned to the Free Format Programming mode screen.
