1. Press MODE until the display shows ITEM
CODE PROGRAMMING. The S annunciator,
indicating the Programming Mode, will
illuminate.
2. Press the
+ (plus) or – (minus) keys to scroll
through the programming options until you
see the PROGRAM FREE FORMAT screen. The
display will prompt you to enter a Free
Format number that will identify this format
when it is saved. There are 99 free format
slots available and for the purposes of this
example we will use number 8. Using the
numeric keypad, enter 8 to program Free
Format number 8 and press the
* REPRINT
key. (If you enter a format number that is
already programmed, the screen will display
at each step the previously programmed data
that you can modify or leave the same.)
3. Press the
CLEAR key to copy an existing
format. Use the
<< and >> keys to scroll
through the available format options until you
see A1, then press the
* REPRINT key.
4. At Label Width press the
* REPRINT key for
no change.
5. At Label Height press the
* REPRINT key for
no change.
6. At Select Label Type, enter 0 to enter Item
Label formatting. Then press the
* REPRINT
key to enter the ID Code programming mode.
7. At the X Position, enter 14 to move the ID
Code 14 mm in from the 0 position at the edge
of the label, giving us room for the ID Code
title later. Press the
* REPRINT key to save the
change.
8. Press the
* REPRINT key to accept the Y
Position with no change since we want to
leave the ID Code on the same line it is on
now.
9. Press the
* REPRINT key to accept the Angle of
0 Degrees with no change.
10. Press the
* REPRINT key to accept the Title
Width as 56 mm with no change.
11. Press the
* REPRINT key to leave the Title
Height at 7 at 4 mm with no change.
12. Press the
* REPRINT key to leave the print
Status as “2 – All Print”.
