Formatting Frame Data
This section will explain how to program the position of a frame on a label. The X and Y Base Position, X and Y
Diagonal length, print Status and line Thickness can be user-programmed. Up to two frames can be programmed
on a Free Format Label.
1. Use the
+ or - keys to move to Item No. 23-Frame or 24-Frame by entering 23 or 24 from the numeric
keypad and pressing the
+ (plus) key. Then press the * REPRINT key.
2. Enter the X-Axis Base position of the frame on your label format from the numeric keypad and press the

programming any item that requires a position measurement.
3. Enter the Y-Axis Base position of the frame on your label format from the numeric keypad and press the
* REPRINT key. If you selected dots as your units of measurement in Step 3, it will remain dots here.
4. Enter the X Diagonal length of the frame on your label format from the numeric keypad and press the
*
REPRINT
key. If you selected dots as your units of measurement in Step 3, it will remain dots here.
5. Enter the Y Diagonal length of the frame on your label format from the numeric keypad and press the
*
REPRINT
key. If you selected dots as your units of measurement in Step 3, it will remain dots here.
6. Choose when you want the frame to print by programming the print Status: 0 for No Print, 1 for Weight
Print and 2 for All Print. Press the
* REPRINT key.
7. Choose the Thickness or line weight of the frame by entering a value in either mm or dots (1 dot =
0.125mm). Use the
<< or >> keys to toggle between mm and dots as the unit of measurement. Press the *
REPRINT key.
8. You will now be returned to the initial Item Programming screen. Press the
CODE key to save the
formatting you have entered and exit the programming mode.
