DIEHARD LIMITED WARRANTY

FOR RATED TREADWEAR MILEAGE or SIX YEARS from date of manufacture or FIVE YEARS from date of sale,

whichever comes first, this tire is warranted against 1) failure due to defects in material or workmanship or 2) premature

wear out (see Rated Treadwear Mileage table below), when it is installed, driven and maintained according to all

qualifications, conditions and customer service information listed in this warranty document.

WITH PROOF OF SALE and under the terms set forth below, a new tire will be supplied at no or reduced charge for one

that is defective or a credit will be issued for one that is prematurely worn out. You are responsible for all costs associated

with tire installation, including mounting and balancing.

To receive warranty coverage, present the tire to an authorized DieHard dealer in the United States along with a tire

rotation record showing that the tire was rotated once every 5000 miles or within vehicle manufacturer specifications.

Warranty Qualifications

This warranty applies to the original purchaser of any new DieHard tire and is non-transferable. Eligible tires shall be used

on the vehicle on which they were originally installed according to the vehicle manufacturer’s or retailer’s

recommendation. This warranty applies if all following qualification requirements are met:

1. The tire was purchased after January 1, 2016.

2. The tire is the size, speed and load rating recommended by the vehicle manufacturer or DieHard dealer.

3. The tire has not become unserviceable due to a condition listed under What is not Covered.

4. The tire is no older than 6 years from the date of manufacture or 5 years from the date of sale, whichever occurs first.

5. The tire is of the type specified for passenger and light trucks.

Warranty Conditions

1. Coverage for material or workmanship defects

A warranty claim will be considered should any tire become unusable due to a workmanship or material defect during its

usable tread life (more than 2/32 inch remaining tread). In all cases described below the applicable taxes on the new tire

and cost of mounting, balancing and any other charges in connection with the replacement of the tire are required to be

paid by the owner:

1. During the first 2/32 inch wear of the original usable tread and within one year from date of sale:

Tire will be replaced with the same or comparable new DieHard tire free of charge.

2. After the first 2/32 inch of the original usable tread or after one year from date of sale, whichever occurs first:

Credit will be given to the owner toward the purchase of the same or comparable new DieHard tire. The credit

amount will be determined by multiplying the percentage of original tread depth remaining on the tire times a pre-

established tire use adjustment price.

3. During the first 2/32 inch wear of original tread:

If the tire is out-of-round or exhibits ride complaint it will be replaced with the same or comparable new DieHard tire

free of charge.

2. Coverage for premature wear out

1. If an above eligible tire wears out prematurely, that is, wears down to 2/32 inch remaining depth under normal

passenger vehicle use before it is driven the miles specified by its treadwear mileage rating, credit will be given to the

owner toward the purchase of the same or comparable new DieHard tire, prorated on remaining warranted miles.

2. The purchase credit will be calculated by multiplying the percentage of warranted miles remaining times a pre-

established tire use adjustment price.

What is not Covered

This DIEHARD LIMITED WARRANTY will NOT pay for tires that:

1. Are used or serviced outside of the Continental United States, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

Are damaged by road hazards including but not limited to: puncture, cut, impact break, stone drill, bruise, bulge, snag, collision. Are prematurely or irregularly worn down due to vehicle mechanical reason or misalignment (a measured tread difference of 2/32 inch or more across the tread on the same tire).

• • Use an accurate tire gauge to check tire air pressures. Always maintain the proper recommended air inflation pressure in all tires. If there is an indication that one of your tires has lost four or more pounds of air pressure, immediately look for signs of penetration through the tire, valve leaks or wheel damage that may account for the air loss. You should also have your tires inspected by a tire retailer immediately.
