Most vehicles turn off ACC power when the key is in the OFF position and the iPod will stop playing and charging. However, in some vehicles the ACC power is always on and the iPod should be disconnected to prevent draining the vehicles battery. Charging icon will appear on the upper right corner of the iPod screen to indicate charging.
