The charger is not equipped with a main power protection, mount it externally in for

example a group box. Use your own protection for the charging point. The charging

point is set to 16 ampere payload.

Lights on the charge point:

Green: Power • Blue: Charge

3a ADJUST TO 10 A

The BlackBoxx is adjusted to charge 16 A by default. When 10 A charging is desired,

connect the black wire 10 A to the yellow / green ground terminal.

4 IMPLEMENTING

Has the cable been correctly connected and checked for short circuits? If the charger

is properly connected, switch on protection 5HS3. The green “Power” LED will light

up when the external protection is switched on. Now use the EV-tester to test the

charging point for operation. This tester is available from your supplier.

5 USE CHARGING STATION

Start loading: Plug and charge output

In a Plug and Charge output, the charger switches on automatically when the car

is connected to the charging station. That type 2 Mennekes connector is automati-

cally locked.

• The green “power” LED lights up: the charger is ready to charge or your

battery is full.

• The blue “Charge” LED lights up: the charger charges

Attention! Start charging by first connecting your

vehicle to the charging point. After connection,

check the charging point for a correct connec-

tion. After the check, the charger starts and the

blue “Charge” LED lights up.

When the battery is fully charged, the charger

automatically stops charging, the green Power
