Handling
Before you attempt to fill the cylinder, always make sure that
the magazine has been removed, the gun is unloaded and
uncocked (see “Unloading the gun,” p. 30).
The permissible
filling pressure is a maximum of 300 bar. Use only oil-free,
water-free filtered pressurized air.
The air must be dry and
free from dust and dirt (DIN EN 12021). Make sure that your
supply system is able to guarantee and supply this air quality.
For filling and refilling, we recommend that you use diving cylin-
ders. Never use another type of gas, particularly industrial or wel-
ding gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, acetylene, hydrogen,
argon, etc.
There are currently three supply systems available on the market:
hand pumps
compressors
pressurized air bottles
For safety reasons, it is never permissible to fill, use or store
the cylinder above the maximum permissible pressure of
300 bar.
Please strictly follow the instructions for filling the cylinder, as
well as the corresponding technical regulations. If the cylinder
is filled beyond the permissible pressure of 300 bar, air should
be let off immediately in order to reach or fall below the maxi-
mum permissible filling pressure. Failure to follow these instruc-
tions can lead to personal injury, property damage and even
death. Before filling the cylinder, check all of the components
associated with the filling process, such as the refilling bottle,
refill adapter and pressurized air cylinder, for damages (for
instance on the thread turns).
Only use the adapter provided with your gun (see Image 1), and
screw it into the appropriate threading of the respective supply
system first.
Close the exhaust screw on the adapter.
Now firmly screw the cylinder onto the adapter by hand (see
Image 1).
Open the respective supply valve as slowly as possible. Do not
touch the cylinder during the filling process.
When you no longer hear the sound of air flowing or when the
supply system turns off, close the supply valve. The cylinder will
be slightly warm.
Open the exhaust screw on the adapter. Now the cylinder can
be unscrewed by hand.

Always point the gun in a safe direction. Make sure that the ma-
gazine has been removed and the gun is uncocked and unloaded.
Now carefully use your hand to push the cylinder into the front
stock opening, with the connection threading under the barrel,
until the threaded hole is touching the threaded pin on the valve
housing. Then screw in the cylinder by hand. Make sure that the
cylinder can be easily turned and screwed in. If you feel resis-
tance, the threading may be crossed. Do not continue
screwing it in. Do not use force. In this case, unscrew the
cylinder until it is completely clear of the connection threading.
Then try once again to screw in the cylinder gently. Make sure
that the cylinder is parallel to the barrel. Just before the stop
position is reached, the valve will open automatically, and you
will feel a clear resistance. Keep turning the cylinder by hand
until it is in the stop position, and hand-tighten it. It is important
for the cylinder to be firmly installed at the valve housing, or air
loss can occur.
Attention! The air gun is now once again equipped with a filled
cylinder. Now the magazine or the single-shot slider can be
installed (see “Loading the magazine,” p. 25) and the gun can
be discharged. When the pressure gauge (manometer) reaches
the edge of the yellow zone, it is time to refill the cylinder. The
yellow zone indicates that the steady pressure required for shoo-
ting is no longer available. If your cylinder is damaged in any way,
it must be replaced immediately and can no longer be used or
refilled. It must immediately be safely emptied (see “Emptying
the cylinder,” p. 31).
Your gun is equipped with a 14-shot magazine. Please Note:
This rifle can be used with all types of standard airgun pellets –
flat nose, rounded, pointed, etc. Do not use steel bolts, steel
darts, BB’s or similar. Be sure that the pellets have not been
damaged. Do not load used pellets. Use the correct caliber for
your gun.
Hold the magazine in your left hand and insert the diabolos into
the openings one at a time, with the head facing forward (Image
3). The diabolos are held in place by an O ring.
Make sure that the diabolos are fully inserted into the magazine
and do not stick out.
Make sure that the diabolos are not damaged and not crushed.
