Safety instructions
Thank you for choosing one of our products. DIANA compressed
air guns are valued worldwide for their well-developed con-
struction, quality and outstanding firing properties. When used
carefully, this model will give you many years of enjoyment.
Read these operating instructions all the way through before
shooting the air gun.
Keep the instructions in a safe place. If you let another person
use the air gun, be sure to give them the operating instructions
as well.
Failure to follow these instructions can lead to serious inju-
ries or damage to the air gun.
We do not assume any liability for damages caused by a failure
to follow these operating instructions.
The important safety information is labeled. Be sure to read this
information in order to prevent accidents and damage to the air
gun:
A loaded air gun is a potentially hazardous object. If it is not
handled carefully, it can cause serious injuries with lasting
physical damage. Therefore, please note the following:
Never rely on the safety! Always handle the air gun as if it were
loaded.
Never hold your hand in front of the muzzle.
Be sure that the muzzle is always pointing in a safe direction.
Never aim it at people or animals.
Only load the air gun immediately before shooting. Never put
down a loaded air gun. Never transport a loaded gun.
Diabolos can ricochet off of hard surfaces and cause serious
injuries.
You and your companion should always wear protective
glasses while shooting.
Ensure an adequate backstop.

Observe your country’s applicable legal provisions for purcha-
sing, using and storing your air gun.
A failure to observe these rules can result in legal consequences.
Do not leave the air gun unsupervised, and use it very carefully
in the presence of children or other people who are unable to
assess the risk.
Children and other people who are unable to assess the risk
should not be allowed to use the air gun. Packaging materials
should not be used as toys. There is a risk of suffocation.
Use the air gun only for shooting at practice targets, and use
only diabolos that correspond to the caliber of the gun. Any other
use is considered improper and is prohibited.
In particular, it is prohibited to:
Shoot at people or animals.
Shoot at hard surfaces (e.g. concrete) or water surfaces.
Load the gun with bolts or steel slugs.
Only transport the air gun when it is uncocked, unloaded and the
safety is on. Transport the gun separately from the ammunition
in an appropriate and safe transport container, for instance a gun
case.
If you do not intend to use the air gun for a longer period of time:
Unload, uncock and secure the air gun.
Place the air gun in an appropriate container, for instance a gun
case.
Lightly oil the metal parts of the air gun with gun oil. Do not dis-
pose of oily rags in household trash.
Store the air gun in a dry room.
You must agree not to undertake any actions that directly or
indirectly violate any law in your country or any other internatio-
nal agreements relating to the export or re-export of commercial
goods.
Never use a defective air gun.
Never try to repair a defective air gun.
Send defective air guns to a specialized retailer (gunsmith) or
DIANA customer service for repairs. See back page for address.
