Connection through options

configured at the time that the system was installing. And it’s always active for
making connection while the computer is running.
Once a connection is established, you will find the icon of the component shows
“connected” in Network Connections panel. You can click the icon to open its
connection status window to check connection status, enable and disable the
connection or open its connection properties window to configure this connection
component.
Wireless LAN connection
By using the built-in 802.11 b/g wireless LAN module, you can connect your
computer to an infrastructure network or an ad hoc network.
Infrastructure network
A local area network that uses access points to connect computers and devices on the network.
Ad hoc network
A computer to computer local area network.
To make a wireless network connection:
17 Turn on wireless LAN module.
18 The connection component of the module will be started by the driver program and seek the networks in wireless range automatically, and then connects your computer to the
most preferred network listed in Preferred Networks.
Once a connection is established, you will find the icon of the component shows
“connected” in Network Connections panel. You can click the icon to open its
connection status window to check connection status, stop and start the connection
or open its connection properties window to configure this connection component.
For the first time use, a setup wizard will guide you to create and configure a
connection component on the module.
If the preferred networks can not be found, you can click the message icon shown in
taskbar notification area to see the list of wireless LANs found and then select one to
connect to.
