6 Message Reference
6.3.4 LIU_MSG_R_CONTROL – LIU Read Control Request
Synopsis
Message sent by the application to read back the current Line Interface Unit (LIU) control options from the
board.
Format
Description
This message is sent to the board to read back the current control parameters selected for a Line Interface
Unit (LIU). The user should always request a confirmation message. The confirmation message indicates
success when the status value of 0 and contains the current control parameters in the parameter area of the
message.
6.3.5 MVD_MSG_RESETSWX – Reset Switch Request
Synopsis
Resets the digital switch to its default state in accordance with the current board configuration.
Format
Description
This message is sent to the board to reset the state of the digital cross connect switch.

All fields should be set to 0. The confirmation message contains LIU
control options.
The user should set the fields to 0 and the module writes the current
control parameters in the confirmation message.
