3.20 Non-Menu (Hidden) Parameters
The following parameters do not appear in the Web interface and can only be changed by editing
the configuration file directly. These parameters are listed alphabetically.
• DNS NAPTR and SRV Record Enable
• Incompatible Message STATUS
• Inform On No PBX CPID (Phone Emulating Only)
• Inform On No PBX CPID Time (Phone Emulating Only)
• ISDN Overlap Receive Minimum Digits
• ISDN Overlap Receive Timeout
• Routing Proxy Group Name
• Routing Table Only On Proxy Down
• Port Disable Timeout
3.20.1 DNS NAPTR and SRV Record Enable
Description: The gateway can use three types of DNS lookup requests: NAPTR, SRV, and A
Record. Typically, the NAPTR and SRV lookup requests do not result in any useful data. To reduce
network traffic, the gateway defaults to A record only lookup requests. This parameter can be used
to force the gateway to request NAPTR and SRV lookup requests.
Note: This parameter can only be changed in the configuration file. It is not accessible through the Web
interface.
Allowed Values:
• Yes = the gateway requests DNS lookup of NAPTR and SRV records.
• No = the gateway does not request DNS lookup of NAPTR and SRV records.
Default Value = No
