The DMG2000 Gateway is able to address SIP trunking, PSTN toll bypass, and other access gateway applications. The
gateway provides TDM-to-TDM routing as well as the traditional SIP-to-TDM and TDM-to-SIP routing. With this
routing addition, as well as the addition of failover relays for direct TDM-to-TDM connectivity in case of power failures,
or IP network issues, the gateway provides a survivable telephony connection (see Figure 4).
