Hardware Installation
2.7.12 Game/MIDI Port
The Game/MIDI port is identical to
that of a standard PC game
adapter or game I/O port.
Connect an analog joystick to the
15-pin D-sub connector (CN7 -
Gold) located at the ATX double
deck ports of the system board.
This port works well with any
application that is compatible with
the standard PC joystick.
2.7.13 Audio Jacks
The system board is equipped with
3 onboard audio jacks located at
the ATX double deck ports of the
system board. A jack is a one-hole
connecting interface for inserting a
plug.
Speaker-out Jack (CN5 - Lime)
This jack is used to connect external
speakers for amplified audio output
from the system board.
Line-in Jack (CN6 - Light Blue)
This jack can be connected to any
external audio devices such as Hi-fi
set, CD player, AM/FM radio tuner, synthesizer, etc. Connect a stereo
cable from the line-out jack of your external device to this line-in
jack.
Mic-in Jack (CN8 - Pink)
Connect a microphone to the mic-in jack.
