BIOS Setup
Hot Key Power On
This field is used to select a function key that you would like to use
to power-on the system.
Onboard FDC Controller
Enabled Enables the onboard floppy disk controller.
Disabled Disables the onboard floppy disk controller.
PWRON After PWR-Fail
Off When power returns after an AC power failure, the
system’s power is off. You must press the Power button
to power-on the system.
On When power returns after an AC power failure, the
system will automatically power-on.
Former-Sts When power returns after an AC power failure, the
system will return to the state where you left off before
power failure occurs. If the system’s power is off when
AC power failure occurs, it will remain off when power
returns. If the system’s power is on when AC power
failure occurs, the system will power-on when power
returns.
Onboard Serial Port 1, Onboard Serial Port 2, Onboard Serial Port
3 and Onboard Serial Port 4
3F8, 2F8, 3E8, 2E8 Allows you to manually select an I/O address for
the serial port.
Disabled Disables the serial port.
Serial Port 1 Mode
COM 1 functions as a serial port or IrDA. You cannot use both at
the same time.
Normal This option sets COM 1 as serial port.
IrDA This option sets COM 1 as IrDA.
