USB Ports
USB allows data exchange between your computer and a wide range of simulta-
neouslyaccessibleexternalPlugandPlayperipherals.
Thesystemboardisequippedwith6onboardUSB2.0/1.1ports.The10-pincon-
nectorallows you to connect 2 additionalUSB 2.0/1.1 ports. The USBports may
bemountedonacard-edgebracket.Installthecard-edgebrackettoanavailable
slotattherearofthesystemchassistheninserttheUSBportcablestothecon-
nector.
BIOS Setting
Congure the onboard USB in the Chipset menu (“South Bridge Conguration”
submenu)oftheBIOS.Refertochapter3formoreinformation.
Driver Installation
You may need to install the proper drivers in your operating system to use the
USB device. Referto your operating system’smanualor documentation for more
