BIOS Setup
3.1.7.3 Current System Temperature, Current CPU Temperature, Cur-
rent Chassis Fan Speed, Current CPU Fan Speed and Current
Second Fan Speed
These fields show the internal temperature of the system, current
temperature of the CPU and the current fan speed of the chassis,
CPU and second fans in RPM (Revolutions Per Minute).
3.1.7.4 CPU (V)
This field shows the voltage of the processor.
3.1.7.5 +1.5V, +3.3V, +5V, +12V, -12V, VBAT (V) and 5VSB (V)
These fields show the output voltage of the power supply.
3.1.7.6 Shutdown Temperature
You can prevent the system from overheating by selecting a tem-
perature in this field. If the system detected that its temperature
exceeded the one set in this field, it will automatically shutdown.
This function will work only when you enable this function in the
Hardware Monitor utility.
Note:
The onboard hardware monitor function is capable of detecting
“system health” conditions but if you want a warning message
to pop-up or a warning alarm to sound when an abnormal
condition occurs, you must install the Hardware Monitor utility.
This utility is included in the CD that came with the system
board. Refer to the Hardware Monitor section in chapter 4 for
more information.
