Leave this eld in its default setting.
HDD S.M.A.R.T. Capability
The system board supports SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting
Technology) hard drives. SMART is a reliability prediction technology for ATA/IDE
and SCSI drives. The drive will provide sufcient notice to the system or user to
backup data prior to the drive’s failure. The default is Disabled. If you are using
hard drives that support S.M.A.R.T., set this eld to Enabled. SMART is supported
in ATA/33 or later hard drives.

Small Logo(EPA) Show

The EPA logo will appear during system boot-up.

Onboard LAN Boot ROM
Enable this eld if you wish to use the boot ROM (instead of a disk drive) to
boot-up the system and access the local area network directly.
If you wish to change the boot ROM’s settings, type the <Shift> and <F10> keys
simultaneously when prompted during boot-up. Take note: you will be able to ac-
cess the boot ROM’s program (by typing <Shift> + <F10>) only when this eld
is enabled.
