Award BIOS Setup Utility
VIA-3043 OnChip LAN (AZ30-TL only)
This field is used to enable or disable the onboard LAN.
Onboard LAN Boot ROM (AZ30-TL only)
Enable this field if you wish to use the boot ROM (instead of a
disk drive) to boot-up the system and access the local area net-
work directly. If you wish to change the boot ROM’s settings,
type the <Shift> and <F10> keys simultaneously when
prompted during boot-up. Take note: you will be able to access
the boot ROM’s program (by typing <Shift> + <F10>) only
when this field is enabled.
OnChip USB Controller
This field is used to enable or disable the onboard USB.
USB Keyboard Support
By default, USB Keyboard Support is Disabled. However, if you
are using a USB keyboard under DOS, make sure to enable this
function.
Super IO Device
Move the cursor to this field and press <Enter>. The following fields
will appear.
Onboard FDC Controller
Enabled Enables the onboard floppy disk controller.
Disabled Disables the onboard floppy disk controller.
Onboard Serial Port 1 and Onboard Serial Port 2
Auto The system will automatically select an I/O ad-
dress for the onboard serial port 1 and serial
port 2.
3F8/IRQ4, 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3 Allows you to
manually select an I/O address for the onboard
serial port 1 and serial port 2.
Disabled Disables the onboard serial port 1 and/or serial
port 2.
