Thesoft,normal,attentiveandHypoRepeatproleshavethefollowing
alert sequence:
 •Therstalertisvibrateonly.
 •Ifthealertisnotconrmedinveminutes,thesystemvibrates
and beeps.
 •Ifthealertisnotconrmedinvemoreminutes,thesystemvibrates
andbeepslouder.Thiscontinuesatthesamevolumeeveryve
minutesuntilconrmed.
For the HypoRepeat prole only:
 •Ifthealertisconrmedandyoursensorglucosereadingscontinue
to be at or below 55 mg/dL your system repeats the alert sequence
in 30 minutes.
Press the SELECTbuttontoconrmanyalert.
9.3.1 ALERT PROFILE OPTIONS
Normalprole:thedefaultprolewhenyoureceiveyour
system.Thisprolesetsallalertsandalarmtohigher
volume beeps.
Attentiveprole:whenyouneedyouralerttobethemost
noticeable.Thisprolesetsallthealertsandalarmtoloud
and highly distinctive melodies.
Vibrateprole:whenyouwanttosilencethereceiverandbe
alertedbyvibration.Theonlyexceptiontothisisthexed
lowalarmat55mg/dL,whichalertsyouasavibrationrst,
followedbybeeps5minuteslaterifnotconrmed.
Softprole:whenyouneedyouralerttobelessnoticeable.
Thisprolesetsallthealertsandalarmtolower
volume beeps.
