4. Press the UP or DOWN button to choose
the amount of time out of range after which
the receiver will alert. Press the SELECT
button.
5. Press the LEFT button to return to the alerts

9.3 ALERT PROFILES
The Dexcom G4 PLATINUM System lets you
setprolestochoosethewayyouwantyour
alerts to act. This feature is found under the
ProlesoptionontheMainMenu.Youcanset
yourproletothesoundpatternandvolume
thattsyourneeds.
Yourproleoptionsare:
1. Vibrate
2. Soft
3. Normal
4. Attentive
5. HypoRepeat
Foreachproleoption,therstalertisvibrationonly.
Regardlessofwhichalertproleyouchose,ifyouconrmtherst
vibrate alert, you will not get a sound alert.
When you choose your prole setting this setting applies to all
alerts, alarm and prompts.
Withineachprolesetting,eachalerthasitsownuniquesoundpattern,
tone and volume level. This lets you to easily identify each alert and
alarm and its meaning.
