Maintenance and cleaning
c Danger: make sure that the gas alarm is
not live when maintaining or cleaning the
device.
o Clean the casing of the gas alarm with a
dust cloth or a damp cloth. Use a mild
detergent (no solvents) to clean the plastic
surface.
o Remove all deposits of dust from the sensor
openings regularly with a brush.
o Check regularly that the device is working
properly (see section „Function test“).
o Replace the gas alarm after it has been in
use for approximately 5 years.
Disposal
Please take all packaging materials to a dis-
posal facility in your city or district.

law,usedelectricalappliancesmustbecollected
separately and recycled in an ecologically
compatible manner.
Please dispose of the alarm at the end of its
useful life at a disposal facility in your city or

Warranty
This device has a warranty of 3 years from the
date of purchase. The device was manufac-
tured with care and inspected thoroughly
before delivery. Please keep your receipt as
proof of purchase. If you have a claim under
thewarranty,pleasecontacttheserviceofce
for your country. This is the only way to ensure
that your device can be sent in free of charge.
This warranty is only valid for the first pur-
chaser and is not transferable.
The warranty furthermore covers material or
manufacturing defects only. It does not apply
to wear parts or damage to fragile parts. The
product is solely intended for private use and
notforcommercialuse.Noclaimfordamages
may be brought in the event of fire or explo-
sion. An alarm is no substitute for insurance
cover and does not replace your duty of care.
In the event of incorrect and / or improper han-
dling,theuseofforceoranyworkonthe
device that is not performed by the service
ofce,thewarrantyshallexpire.Thiswarranty
does not restrict your statutory rights.
