Safety Data Sheet Wet-Stick Cement
Inhalation: Move affected person(s) to fresh air. If not breathing, breathing is difficult, or if no heartbeat,
trained personnel should give artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
and/or administer oxygen as needed. Immediately call a physician.
Eyes: Check for and remove any contact lenses. Flush eyes with large amounts of luke warm water for at
least 15 minutes. Do not rub or scratch eyes. If symptoms or irritation occur, call a physician.
Ingestion: If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting and DO NOT give liquids. Rinse mouth with water to remove
material from throat. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below hips to prevent aspiration
of liquid into the lungs. Immediately call a physician and seek medical attention.
Skin: Wash with soap and large amounts of luke warm water. Remove and isolate
contaminated shoes and clothing. Wash clothing and clean shoes thoroughly before reuse. If
symptoms or irritation occur, call a physician.
Fire Extinguishing Media: Class B extinguisher for oil fires, CO
2
, Dry Powder, Water Fog.
Special Exposure Hazards: Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Sulfur Byproducts upon combustion.
Advice for Firefighters: Firefighting may result in potential exposure to high heat, smoke or toxic byproducts of
combustion. A self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with full-face piece and full
protective firefighting clothing should be worn.
Personal Precautionary Measures: Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental Precautions: Dike or contain spill with earth, dry sand, etc.
Procedures for Containment/Cleanup: Pick up large pieces. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If using dry clean-up
procedures (i.e. dry sand), avoid creating dusts during clean up. Wear
protective clothing, gloves, safety glasses and a dust respirator. If using
liquid cleaners (i.e. mineral spirits or Citrus Cleaner) pump waste liquid into
waste containers, soak up remaining material with absorbent material. Clean
contaminated area thoroughly after product recovery, wash the spill area
and prevent runoff into drains. Waste should be disposed of in accordance
with State, Local, and Federal Regulations.
Handling Precautions: Use adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors. Avoid prolonged skin
contact. Do not swallow any material. Do not use near open flame, sources of heat, or ignition.
Storage Information: Store in a cool place away from excessive heat and open flame. Keep away from children
Keep lid on container when not in use. Avoid contact with strong oxidizers. Keep area
clean and free of hazardous material.
