Heats up in about 60-90 seconds and im sure if you dont
wait till its warm you would break it like many others. The
glue advance trigger is excellent, no need to push hard,
and glue gun does not drip at all. Great purchase

I bought this less then a year ago and it has stopped
working trigger is broke and glue barely heats up to even
push the sticks through do not recommend.
