I was a bit worried about purchasing this after reading the
reviews, but took a chance thinking maybe a previous
version of this glue gun was not made well. I've had mine
for about a year and half. To be honest, I don't use it
everyday, but I pull it out every few months. I ran a lot of
glue sticks through it attaching carpet while building cat
trees and never had an issue with the trigger or it not
advancing the glue. Don't know if I purchased better
quality glue sticks than those that had trouble, but mine
works every bit as good as I expected it to work. Also I
take the loaded glue stick out before I store it. I'm happy
with mine -
