Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
(Fig.G)

WARNING: Ensure the tool/appliance is in
the off position before inserting the batterypack.
NOTE: For best results, make sure your battery pack is
fullycharged.
1. To install the battery pack

into the tool handle, align
the battery pack with the rails inside the tool’s handle
and slide it into the handle until the battery pack is firmly
seated in the tool and ensure that it does notdisengage.
2. To remove the battery pack from the tool, press the
battery pack release button

and firmly pull the
battery pack out of the tool handle. Insert it into
the charger as described in the charger section of
thismanual.

WARNING: Do not operate blower without
blow tube securely in place. Never reach down into
housing through tubehole.

WARNING: Always wear safety glasses.
Always wear respiratory protection. Always wear
hearing protection. Use of rubber gloves and
substantial footwear is recommended when working
outdoors. Keep long hair and loose clothing away from
openings and moving parts. For household useonly.

WARNING: Cut Hazard. When turning the
tool off, wait 10seconds for the fan to stop rotating
beforeremoving the blowertube.
• Always ensure the blower is switched OFF and the
battery is removed when:
- You leave blowerunattended.
- Clearing ablockage.
- Checking, adjusting, cleaning or working onblower.
• Only use blower in daylight or good artificiallight.
OPERATION

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury, turn unit off and remove the
battery pack before making any adjustments or
removing/installing attachments or accessories.
An accidental start-up can causeinjury.
Concentrator and Broom Tip Assembly (Fig. E)

before you leave the blower unattended or when storing,
checking, adjusting, cleaning, removing/installing
attachments or accessories or working onthe blower.
• Use the concentrator tip

WARNING: The shoulder strap should only
be slung over one shoulder and not across thebody.
