2.3.2 Installation under Windows 98
햲 Start your computer.
햳 Insert the supplied devolo product CD into your CD-ROM drive.
햴 Connect your ADSL modem to your computer via the supplied USB cable.
햵 Connect your ADSL modem to the ADSL connection via the supplied
ADSL cable.
햶 Windows starts the hardware wizard and reports that new hardware has
been found. Confirm this message with Next.
햷 Windows provides you with two different options for searching for driv-
ers. Select the 'Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)'
option and click Next.
햸 The suitable driver can be found on the devolo product CD. Activate the
'CD-ROM drive' option and deactivate all other boxes.
Confirm with Next
(2x).
햹 The driver installation continues. Confirm the first part of the driver
installation by clicking Finish.
