Installing the Home Control Smoke Detector

Only use the Home Control Door/Window Contact indoors.

햲 Turn the detector anti-clockwise to unscrew it from the housing backplate and access the battery com-

partment.

Unscrewing the Home Control Smoke Detector from the housing backplate triggers

an alarm (disassembly alarm), which can only be switched off by removing the bat-

tery or reattaching the Home Control Smoke Detector to the housing backplate. The

alarm tone is loud and shrill and can cause hearing damage. Stay a minimum distance

of about 50 cm away from it.
