24 Initial use
devolo dLAN pro 500 Wireless+
dLAN AVpro manager, the encryption button or
enter the dLAN password on the configuration
interface to secure your dLAN pro network from
unauthorised access. For information on how to
proceed, please read further in chapter 4.4
Device configuration and/or chapter 5 dLAN
pro network.

햵 In order to be able to configure the Wi-Fi net-
work, first install the configuration software as
described in the following chapter.
3.4.1 Software for Windows and Linux
The dLAN AVpro manager configuration software is
installed using the installation wizard.
쎲 In addition to the individual encryption of your
dLAN pro network,
devolo dLAN AVpro manager offers other
expanded dLAN functions.
쎲 Via the configuration interface you can config-
ure your Wi-Fi network (along with other actions).
To install the software, insert the included CD-ROM in
the CD drive of your computer and follow the
installation instructions.
Then you will find the link to the configuration
interface as well as the installed dLAN AVpro manager
in the program group Start  All Programs  devolo.
