 If a P2P dLAN contains a dLAN device which is connected to the dLAN

AVpro manager computer via Ethernet, the respective dLAN device is

highlighted in the network tree. This makes all remaining dLAN devices

appear to be in a lower hierarchy level. Nevertheless, in this dLAN, all

dLAN devices are completely equal to each other.

One of the dLAN devices is however automatically assigned the role of the

Central Coordinator [CCo] in dLAN. For this purpose, the various P2P

dLAN devices automatically choose as the CCo the device that is easiest

for all other devices as a whole to reach. This device is graphically high-

lighted in the network representation of dLAN AVpro manager by a

unique symbol (see Chap. 7.3).

If you create a dLAN with the dLAN AVpro manager, the manager then takes

into account the structure of the respective dLAN automatically. If you for exam-
