2.6.1.2 Some notes on the database files
The dLAN AVpro manager stores all information on the networks, network seg-
ments, dLAN devices and profiles that have been registered with it in an SQL da-
tabase file. This SQL database file is named config.db. The database file in
Windows 7 is in the directory User
<user name> AppData Roaming
devolo dLAN AVpro manager.
In this directory, the dLAN AVpro manager also saves all additional databases.
Because the dLAN AVpro manager already writes all information upon their en-
try in the database file, the explicit saving of the database file upon closing the
dLAN AVpro manager is omitted.
You can create a new database based on an existing database by copying an
existing database file.
You can send database files, for example on a data carrier or by e-mail.
