You have the following options here:
You retain the default settings by simply clicking on OK.
You can change these settings:
You can change the name of the network to be created.
You can change the network mode ('MDU' or 'peer-to-peer') of the
network to be created.
You can select a different database file, which dLAN AVpro manager
should use from now on. Upon every subsequent startup, the dLAN
AVpro manager reopens the database that was open during the most
recent closing of dLAN AVpro manager.
Your settings are made effective by clicking on OK.
2.3 dLAN AVpro manager files
dLAN AVpro manager uses the following own files:
dLAN AVpro manager creates the config.db database file the first time the
application is started. From now on, the data of all dLAN devices man-
aged is saved in this file until another database file is selected.
The database file in Windows 7 is in the directory User
<user name>
AppData Roaming devolo dLAN AVpro manager.
This directory will be called "data directory" in the following.
When working with dLAN AVpro manager, you can create additional database
files as needed. dLAN AVpro manager creates these database files in the data
directory.
In some versions of Windows, the Application Data directory is hidden by
default.
In Windows 7, you can make the directory visible by clicking in Windows
Explorer on the menu item Folder and Search options in the Organizing menu
and then scrolling under Folder options/View to files and folders hidden under
the category Hidden Files and Folders, where you can activate Show hidden
files, folders and drives.
2.4 The dLAN AVpro manager user modes
dLAN AVpro manager offers two different user modes which differ from one an-
other in their user interface and the configuration options offered.
