2.2 Installing and starting dLAN AVpro manager

It is best to start the installation program for dLAN AVpro manager directly from

the product CD. During the installation, follow the installation program instruc-

tions step by step.

After the installation is finished, you can find the installed files in the directory

tree Programs

 devolo  dlanavpromanager.

During the installation, a link is created on your desktop to dLAN AVpro manag-

er in the program group devolo of the Windows Start directory.

You can start dLAN AVpro manager by double-clicking on the program icon or

by clicking on the entry in the program group.

2.2.1 First start

During the first startup of dLAN AVpro manager, the following window opens:

Upon first startup of dLAN AVpro manager, it starts with the following default

settings:

Network name: "new AVpro network"

Network mode: "peer-to-peer"

Database file: "config.db"
