WPS
With the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) encryption but-
ton, you secure your WLAN network at the touch of a
button.
WPS is one of the encryption standards de-
veloped by the Wi-Fi Alliance for increasing
security in a WLAN home network. The objec-
tive of WPS is to make it easier to add devices
to an existing network. For more detailed in-
formation, refer to Chapter 6.4.1 Security.
dLAN
쎲 Encrypting the dLAN network
쑗 To encrypt your dLAN network individually,
press each encryption button on the con-
nected devices for approx. 1 second – within
2 minutes.
쑗 To remove a dLAN device from your network,
press the encryption button on the corre-
sponding device for at least 10 seconds
(see 5.1 dLAN network encryption at the
touch of a button).
쎲 WiFi Move Technology
WiFi Move Technology is a function for synchronising
the Wi-Fi settings of all dLAN 500 AV Wireless+
adapters connected to your home network.
쑗 Within 2 minutes first press the dLAN but-
ton of the existing dLAN 500 AV Wireless+
(approx. 1 second) and finish by pressing
the dLAN button of the new
dLAN 500 AV Wireless+ (approx.
1second).
쑗 The existing dLAN 500 AV Wireless+ trans-
mits its entire Wi-Fi configuration to the
new dLAN500AVWireless+ adapter. The
existing and the new dLAN 500 AV Wireless+
adapters are now continuously connected
