2.2 The devolo GigaGate
The devolo GigaGate Base is equipped with:
쎲 One LED that indicates the devolo GigaGate Base
operation
쎲 One LED that indicates the status of the connec-
tion between the Base and Satellite
The LED status display can be disa-
bled on the GigaGate configuration
interface (see Chapter 4.3.2 Basic set-
tings).
쎲 One gigabit network jack (1000 Mbps)
쎲 Four internal WiFi antennas that use 4x4 Quan-
tenna technology (point-to-point connection),
쎲 Fold-down feet
쎲
Four holes (on each side) for wall mounting
쎲 One power socket for the included mains adapter.
The devolo GigaGate Satellite is equipped with:
쎲 One LED that indicates the devolo GigaGate Sat-
ellite operation
쎲 an LED that displays the status of the connection
between the Satellite and Base
쎲 One WiFi button with LED status display which
enables WiFi devices to connect using WPS
쎲 One gigabit network jack (1000 Mbps)
쎲 Four Fast Ethernet ports (100 Mbps)
쎲 Four internal WiFi antennas that rely on 4x4
Quantenna technology (point-to-point connec-
tion) as well as two internal WiFi antennas, which
can be used to establish a WiFi connection to
other network devices
