The device is a Class I product. All
electrically conductive (made of
metal) housing parts where a
voltage can be applied during
operation or maintenance in the
event of an error must be contin-
uously connected to the earth
wire.
The manufacturer/distributing
company uses the CE marking to
declare that the product meets all
applicable European regulations
and has been subjected to the
prescribed conformity assessment
procedures.
It is used to prevent the occur-
rence of waste electrical and
electronic equipment and to
reduce this type of waste through
reuse, recycling and other forms
of utilisation. It establishes mini-
mum standards for handling
waste electrical and electronic
equipment in the EU.
