WARNING
Risk of injury or damage
When the device is operated at the extremes o the environmental operating specications (i.e., maximum temperatures and humidity), and in a single ault condition,
which is a single component or performance malfunction, such as a blocked exhaust vent, blocked air intake, or an internal cooling fan failure, the temperature of the air
coming out o the exhaust vents, located on the bottom let and bottom right sides o the unit can reach temperatures capable o causing a burn injury (see stated
temperature and contact time values in the model specic tables below).
Keep exposed body parts, such as hands and eet, a minimum o 46 inches (1.2 meters) away rom the exhaust vents to avoid the risk o burns. Single ault conditions
may result in visual and audible alerts and alarms
NOTE Under normal and single fault conditions, the concentrator releases warm air out the bottom of the unit (exhaust vents) which may discolor temperature
sensitive fooring suraces. The concentrator should not be used over fooring that is sensitive to heat staining. The Manuacturer is not responsible or fooring that
becomes discolored.
Operate the unit in a cool, dry area with good ventilation, located on a hard surface, avoid thick rugs or carpeting NEVER block the air intake or exhaust vents Keep
the unit a minimum o 12 inches (30.5 cm) away rom any wall, draperies, or any other objects that might prevent the proper fow o air in and out o your oxygen
concentrator. Proper air fow is needed to prevent overheating o the oxygen concentrator. DO NOT place the concentrator near any heat source such as hot air
registers or heaters Overheating of the oxygen concentrator may lead to low oxygen output and a risk of burns
The oxygen concentrator should be located in a well-ventilated area. DO NOT operate the unit in a closed or conned space, such as a closet, bathroom, etc. Avoid
operating the device near smoke pollutants and fumes
Under extreme environmental conditions and a single ault condition occurs, the ollowing device surace temperatures may exceed 106 °F (41 °C). See Table 1 below
or the model specic maximum temperature and sae contact guidance:
