Hot or noisy operation.
Fan rubbing or hitting. Remove interference with fan cover, etc.
Tighten hold down bolts.
Misalignment. See “engine vibrates” above.
Insufficient oil. Lubricate engine per instructions in the
engine manual.
Deterioration of lubricant. Remove old oil and lubricate engine per
instructions in the engine manual.
Excess oil. Drain excess oil. Verify oil level.
Engine loose. Verify engine mounting bolts are tight.
