Alternatively, the diameter of the housing
bore can be determined with the aid of a
measuring guide ring (1).
The measuring guide ring can, for
example, be a valve seat insert turned to
half its size in height which is inserted in
the hole.

Prepare housing bore for the valve seat
insert (oversize)
z Set cutting tool.

z Seal coolant channels.
