Checking the piston ring joint clearance
● Unscrew screws (1).
● Remove the liner holder (2).

● Insert the piston ring (1) in the cylinder.
● Align the piston ring in the cylinder by pushing the
piston.

● Measure the piston ring joint clearance with a feeler
gauge.
1. piston ring
0,3 - 0,55 mm
2. piston ring
1,5 - 2,0 mm
3. piston ring
0,3 - 0,6 mm
When the wear limit is reached, the piston
ring must be renewed.
