Renewing the crankshaft sealing ring
(opposite side to flywheel)
Standard tools:
– Pricker 8198
– Assembly lever 9017
Special tools:
– Assembly tool 142690
– Self-tapping screw
– Washer
– W 04-04-15
Removing the crankshaft sealing ring
● Remove toothed belt wheel.
W 04-04-15
● Make a hole of approximately 3 mm in the crankshaft
sealing ring with a pricker.
Attention!
Do not damage the front cover or cranks-
haft.

● Screw in a self-tapping screw (1) with washer.
