z Insert meter in measuring bridge and position the

stylus with pre-tension on the ball bearing (1).

z Adjust meter to "0".

z Move the measuring bridge and position the stylus

on the ball bearing (1).

z Read and note measured value.

Note

The difference between both measured

values is max. 0.05 mm.

To achieve the required tolerance shims of

max. 0.5 mm may be placed under one stud

bolt.

z Compensate the tolerance by using shim discs (1) of

suitable thickness.

z Repeat the measuring process after setting.
