z The measured compression pressure depends on
the starting speed during the measuring process and
the altitude of the engine installation site.
Limit values can therefore not be determined exactly.
The compression measurement is only
recommended as a reference measurement of all
cylinders of an engine to each other. If more than
15% deviation has been determined, the cause
should be determined by disassembling the cylinder
unit concerned.
