Check the toothed belt tension

z Unscrew the setting bolts for camshaft and

crankshaft locking.

z Make help marks on the camshaft toothed belt wheel

and insert the screw opposite (1).

z Turn the crankshaft 2 turns in the direction of

rotation of the engine (clockwise) until the help

marks are in line.

Note

- The bores (1) in the setting eccenter must be

in line.

- If the marks are not in line, the toothed belt

tension must be corrected.

Correct the toothed belt tension

z Loosen screw (2) and re-tighten.

z Turn setting eccenter in direction of arrow

(counterclockwise) until the bores (1) in the setting

eccenter are in line.

z Tighten screw (2).
