z Stick both startup ring halves with guide lugs (arrow)

to the fir bearing cover with a little grease.

Note

- The installation position of the fit bearing

cover is given by the numeric

identification (1):

Number ”1” in 2-cylinder

Number ”2” in 3-cylinder

Number ”3” in 4-cylinder

- The oil groove (2) must face the face mirror

of the crankshaft.

Install fit bearing and main bearing covers

z Insert fit bearing cover (1) and main bearing

cover (2) according to the numbering.

Note

Note assignment and installation position.

- Insert bearing cover with number "1" on

flywheel side.

- The bevel (arrow) must face the front cover.

z Oil lightly and tighten all screws (1) of the fit bearing

and main bearing covers.

Note

Screws can be used a max. 3 times in case of

provability, otherwise always change them.
